Some key notes to remember here are: The Solo is in Em so we'll be using the 5th string minor
pentatonic for the first part of the solo and then switching to the 6th string minor pentatonic for the
remainder of the solo. (5th and 6th string pentatonics were covered in SCALE SHAPES BOOK I
of the SISNI METHOD). If you have a clear idea of these two pentatonic shapes you'll recognize
them easily in the solo. (For a quick review of all the pentatonic shapes click HERE)
Angus' solo's are some of my favorite to practise because it's his fluid rhythmic phrasing along
with signature double stops and bends that really help you learn to play a solo with feeling.
You'll also be able to play the solo over the 'rythmn' video so that should help if you want to be
able to 'jam along.' The actual song is played at about 92 bpm. I've recorded the first solo/rythmn
parts at 85 bpm and the second 'slower' solo/rythmn parts at 75 bpm.
